Magic: The Gatherings Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Box is $60 off on Amazon — score the best preorder deal
TL;DR: Amazon has knocked $60.72 off preorders for Magic: The Gathering’s Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Box, now down to $148.98.
Magic: The Gathering’s Marvel Super Heroes expansion is almost here, but Amazon has squeezed in another preorder price cut ahead of the release. Ahead of Prime Day, Magic: The Gathering’s Marvel Super Heroes Play Booster Box is available to pre-order on Amazon for $148.98.
That’s $60.72 off this sealed 30-pack display box before the June 26 release date. You’ll only be paying $4.96 per pack before tax. However, you can find this box even cheaper if you’re willing to buy from a non-Amazon storefront. Walmart currently has the same Play Booster Box listed for $129.99 through third-party seller WeTheHobby, while TCGplayer presale listings start at $127.75 with shipping included — matching the market price determined by the trading card retailer.
The Marvel Super Heroes set brings a full collection of Marvel’s heroes and villains into Magic: The Gathering, with players building comic-inspired teams, suiting them up with iconic gear, and using their powers across the battlefield.
Just like other Play Booster Boxes, this is built for the usual mix of casual games, deckbuilding, collecting, and Limited play.
Inside the box, you’ll get 30 Play Boosters, with 14 cards in each pack. Every pack includes one Traditional Foil card and one to four cards of rare or higher rarity, along with commons, uncommons, and a land card. There is also a small chance of pulling a Foil Borderless Mythic Rare, while a Traditional Foil Land replaces the regular land in 20% of boosters.
Mashable has dug up plenty of other money-saving early Prime Day deals on trading cards — including more from Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, One Piece, and KPop Demon Hunters. What’s more, you can also still grab the Magic: The Gathering Aetherdrift Bundle for under $40 on Amazon.
