Whenever Jack Black is involved in a big blockbuster, you know there’s a high chance that the movie’s promotional tour will turn musical.
In the Tonight Show clip above, Black combines with The Super Mario Galaxy Movie cast Chris Pratt, Charlie Day, Anya Taylor-Joy, Keegan-Michael Key, Benny Safdie, Brie Larson, Glen Powell and Donald Glover to perform “The Ballad of Super Mario”, which is every bit as silly as it is entertaining.
If Bowser could have sung as well as this — or his “Peaches” song — in the games, maybe he wouldn’t have had to resort to so much crime?
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is in theatres now.
